The location was fine, right on the waterfront, and the staff were super friendly! Breakfast was really good too. The room was comfy after we fixed the heating issue, on full blast lol. Appledore is a cute spot to explore the area, and bideford is just a few mins away.
The heating was way too hot at first, and we had a small issue with it, but it got sorted. The dinner menu could use a bit more excitement, it was kinda basic.

Fine views and excellent service
I loved the really good views over the estuary from our Classic Triple Room. The staff was attentive and provided personalized service, especially during our dining experiences where the food quality exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for a pet-friendly place, this is also a bonus, as. A little more storage space in the room would enhance the experience.

The Beautiful King Room offers a fine freestanding bathtub that's perfect for unwinding after a long day. The room's layout maximizes space.
The room temperature tends to get quite warm, which might be uncomfortable during the summer months. The bathroom fan can be a bit noisy, potentially disrupting a peaceful soak in that lovely bathtub since it doesn't turn off separately from the lights. The availability of teas could use a bit of tweaking, as a morning cup of breakfast tea isn't an option here, which some may find disappointing.
